Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours thinking about how I can not only build a stable future for my children, but also make a lasting impact on the lives of others, particularly women who have endured the trauma of domestic violence. As a single mother, I have lived through my own experiences of pain and loss—from the scars of violent relationships to the devastating loss of my mother.
